Track & Field Endowment Jamboree Criteria

  • Jamboree must be registered with the IHSAA to avoid it counting as one of the allowed nine meets.
  • Jamboree must be prior to the first allowed competition.
  • Admission:  $3.00 Adults  $2.00      Students Entry Fees: $25 per team
  • Each athlete may enter up to four events including relays.
  • Events will be timed and measured, but not scored or recorded.  In dashes, participants may be given the time, but it will be his/her responsibility to remember it.  In distances, times may be read loudly as runners cross the line.
  • In field events only three attempts will be made and only the furthest will be measured.
  • Only the 4 X 100 relay and the 4 X 400 will be held.  All individual events may be offered.
  • The jamboree may include additional fund-raising events (concessions, sponsorships, pledges, etc.) to raise funds for schools expenses.
  • There is no maximum limit on the number of schools who may participate in the jamboree.
  • All classifications may compete together.
  • Jamboree officials and workers should be encouraged to donate their services.
  • IHSAA cards will not be honored as the jamboree is ONLY allowed as a fund-raising event for YEA.
